Lola Taberna Española

Great place with a taste of Spain in Dubai. Atmosphere that resembles a Spanish backyard, contemporary Spanish music in the background, authentic food and wine as well as rather friendly and helpful staff (Kathe/Diego). For a couple of hours, like we were somewhere else. Highly recommended

Lola Taberna Española is truly an outstanding dining experience and one of those rare places where everything comes together perfectly — food, atmosphere, music, and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the vibe felt authentic, warm, and full of life, exactly what you would expect from a genuine Spanish taberna. The food was absolutely amazing. We started with the anchovies, which were incredibly fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. Then came the calamari sandwich — crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned, served in a way that highlights the simplicity and richness of Spanish cuisine. The highlight of the night, without any doubt, was the grilled octopus Galician style. It was cooked to perfection: tender on the inside, beautifully charred on the outside, and seasoned just right. Every bite was a reminder of how great Spanish food can be when done properly. Beyond the food, the entertainment elevated the whole experience. We were lucky to enjoy live Flamenco music and dancing by a talented and passionate couple who truly brought the soul of Spain to the restaurant. On top of that, hearing Gypsy Kings music added an extra layer of energy and joy, making the evening unforgettable. Finally, no great experience is complete without great service. A huge thank you to Zakaria (Zak) for his exceptional hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of throughout the night. Lola Taberna Española is not just a restaurant — it’s a full Spanish experience that I can’t wait to repeat.

Been here for a quarterly meeting and I can say there food are great! Chicken Paella is my top fave! And you have to try the ceviche and Jamon iberico. Thanks Andres, Abi, Ernesto and Mark for the good service! Kudos to them

The experience was incredible, we were 8 people, a very beautiful and cozy place, with good music and great energy. We were attended to by Jose, who was very polite and attentive from beginning to end. He was affectionate and guided us providing a great dinner. The food was very good and as we ordered.

What a lovely lovely place! Amazing mood, live music, very simple, down to earth, and so full of soul. The staff are all amazing, especially Raul and Diego, they made the experience even better than it already is! Very friendly and recommended excellent food suggestions. Will surely come back again and bring some olive oil for Raul to try :)
